Mangalore, Mar 26: "I had been to Puttur to attend the party convention as a star campaigner. Already, 35 star campaigners are set to campaign across the country, said Sandalwood actress Malavika Avinash, who is also the state BJP spokesperson.

Addressing a press meet here on Tuesday March 25, she said, "Yesterday, chief minister Siddaramaiah used unparliamentary words against Narendra Modi while speaking about the Gujarat riots. Despite knowing that the Supreme Court and SIT inquiry have proven Modi innocent, the CM used such language. They are doing this to hide the UPA government’s failure," she said.

"The Supreme Court asked the government not to make Aadhar mandatory. The UPA government has spent Rs 50,000 crore on the Aadhar card. The Aadhar card has also become a problem to the country’s internal security. This has become helpful to infiltrators. CM Siddaramaiah should hold a serious probe into the BDA site which was allotted to the Kukke Subrahmanya Temple Trust for an information center later which was transferred to U T Nasima Farid Memorable Charitable Trust which belongs to state minster U T Khader’s relatives,” she added.

On this occasion, Prathap Simha Nayak, Sulochana G K Bhat, and Capt Ganesh Karnik were present
