Mumbai, Jun 9: A local court has directed police to register FIR against well known film maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and `Applause Bhansali films on the complaint of an antique furniture dealer, Farida Hoosenally, whose furniture was destroyed during the shooting of Bhansalis film `Black' in October 2005.

Magistrate A G Mohabey of Borivali court has directed the senior police inspector of Aarey Police Station to register an FIR (against Bhansali) and submit a report in the case within two months. Hoosenallys lawyer and former IPS officer, Y P Singh told PTI, here.

Hoosenally, whose antique furniture got burnt on the sets of film `Black had approached police in October 2005, to lodge FIR against Sanjay Leela Bhansali and officers of `Applause Bhansali Films which had produced the movie.

She had charged Bhansali and others of criminal negligence that caused her losses to the tune of crores of rupees.
