New Delhi, Jun 12: Former Miss India contestant Sonal Chouhan has denied reports that she is the girlfriend of Sahil Zaroo, arrested for allegedly supplying drugs to late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's son Rahul, saying police had already given her a "clean chit".

Referring to reports that Sahil had called her on the night of June one before he allegedly supplied drugs to Rahul, Sonal told ZEE News, "I am not Sahil's girlfriend. I spoke to him that night only to consult him regarding buying a flat in Mumbai since I am new to that city. I wanted numbers of some brokers to get a good flat."

On being asked about Sahil's involvement in the case, she said, "It was a big shock for me, I never knew Sahil was involved in something like this. A thorough investigation is required to book the real culprit." Sonal added, "Delhi Police has already given me a clean chit. They have also assured me of all help."

Earlier, her father Raghuraj Singh Chouhan, the SHO of Khatouli police station in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district, too had said that Sonal was not involved in the case.
