Kolkata, Jun 13: Members of Amitabh Bacchan Fan Club today staged a vociferous demonstration in front of the Income Tax office in the city's Chowringheee area on Monday, protesting the alleged conspiracy against the actor for a Rs four-crore arrear demand.
Shouting slogans and holding posters, the fans, most of them youngsters, alleged that IT move against big B was initiated at the behest of the Congress.
One of the organisers said they would go for a sustained agitation against the 'nefarious' conspiracy if Congress president Sonia Gandhi did not take any action to stop the move against the actor.
"We will go for a prolonged movement and show black flags to Ms Sonia Gandhi when he comes next to Kolkata, " he said.
