Shillong, Jun 22: Music lovers of Shillong will get a priviledge to pay rich tributes to singing legends Elvis Presley and the Beatles on July 24 at the State Central Auditorium here.

"They will live once again here to serenade their fans'', said Aldous Mawlong, the organizer of the Elvis and The Beatles show.

Mr Mawlong, president of the Fashion Society Shillong said they will bring five rocks bands and twelve individual artistes from Meghalaya, Nagaland and Mizoram to perform the evergreen foot-tapping numbers like the Rock and Roll and The Fab Four.

"We want to pay tributes to them for their music," Mawlong said.

Those expected to perform are Revel Souls, Snow White, Colours, Felixes, Bandsmen, and solo artistes Gracyl Ropmay, Headingson Rynthathiang, Marvel Lyngwa, Rilang Jyrwa, Stacy Passah, and Raborlang Kharbihkhiew.

A similar event was organized recently in honour of 'Songsmith' Bob Dylan on his 65th birthday here.
