Sydney, Jun 26: Australian actress Nicole Kidman married country singer Keith Urban on Sunday.
Kidman shunned Hollywood glitz for a fairytale ceremony at a clifftop chapel in her hometown of Sydney.
The Oscar-winning actress, dressed in a white Balenciaga gown, draped in a veil and clutching a bouquet of white roses, exchanged vows with Nashville-based singer Keith Urban in a traditional Roman Catholic service.
The couple confirmed their marriage through a photograph released by their representatives.
"We just want to thank everyone in Australia and around the world who have sent us their warm wishes," said a brief statement from the couple that was released with the photo.
The ceremony was attended by close family and just a smattering of A-list stars.
