Don't understand why Pillion riders doesn't need to wear helmet.
Its a common sense that If any motor bicycle involve in accidents both riders will be thrown. Infact pillion would impact the most.
Dont wait for the government to imply such rules,, UR safety in ur hand. No one is made of steel head but yes thick head.
Mr Bhaskar could have survived I guess, If he had wore helmet. Anyway deep condolence for his demise, speedy recovery Ashwin.

Over speeding - reckless driving and breaking traffic rules are the kind of traffic offenses that are observed everyday. Not that the police are lapse but that the people indulge in over-speeding for reasons best known to them.

Police are taking utmost care to keep the situation under control but unfortunately with the increase in the number of vehicles it is extremely difficult for the law enforcement people to completely check the situation.

It is hoped that the department of law and order and crime will find ways and means to resolve the prevailing situation.

sad to hear this news.may god give strength to his family to move on. ive seen people overtake on the wrong side, overtake on bends/curves,speed breaker,in main junction where 3-4 roads meet etc. many basic rules of driving 95% of them do not follow. in our city everyone is in a hurry.start early 5mins before and you dont have to drive at 70-80 and above . our roads and no. of vehicles moving the ideal speed is 50-60 thats where vehicles give good mileage and safety. many drive their vehicles as if remote controlled playing games on PC.animals on road thats another issue here.

Looks like the car is of Kerala registration and some of them are ignorant of Mangalore traffic and roads. Hope the errant driver gets punishment, if the accident was a preventable one.
