road width is the same 20 years ago and now.whereas no. of vehicles, size and speed have increased.travelling on such roads will always be dangerous today.the only way to control is use speed breakers as the road cant be widened nor can they install a divider.people dont follow the simple rule leave 5 mins early always and you dont have to drive at 80kmph or above.ideal speed 50-70.you decide speed first or safety first.driving here gives a scary feeling.our roads and driving here are not for the soft hearted ones.

SM said it correctly. Vehicle are going around the HUMPS on footpath area. One example is near St.Agnes College in Bendoor. Just this morning a Rowdy Nandini Milk driver drew His Van by passing the hump. His vehicle came so close to the bus stand. If it was an hour late,He would have killed few kids. Fortunately it was only 8 am.
These milk vans and mini lorries are death sentence on public. Sometimes I wish some men would pull these rowdy van drivers and show them the day light. There is another Milk driver coming from PVS circle to Dairy in Saripalla, blows His Vehicle Horn at least 25 minutes out of 30 minute trip. Within few weeks He may knock few out of road on His way.

Accidents are a daily occurrence. It looks that rules governing traffic regulations are only on paper.

In Mangalore City too one reads of road accidents almost daily.

It is expedient that the machinery to control traffic is enhanced. That apart all drivers need to go through refresher courses and more particularly the rickshaw and the bus drivers.

Hope the two unfortunate victims of the accident survive and return to normal life.

Wishing them for a speedy recovery and milk transporting vehicles are driving as if they are piloting AERO PLANE.Milk transporting vehicles are driving reckless and in hi speed. In Gurupur area there are lot of unscientific humps which hinders smooth plying of the vehicle.NH 13 Mangalore-Hospet need widening or bi-lanes very very urgent because the quantum vehicle plying in this road is very very dense t hat we can't overtake other vehicle from Moodbidri to Mangalore.

What is the use of constructing a hump/ speed breaker. One has been constructed close to St.Teresa school, bendore. Motorists go around the hump without slowing down. If this is the mindset of our people, what can you expect.
