Mumbai: Fortieth Baidarkala Nemotsava festival celebrated in Borivli

Mumbai, Feb 2: Jagadheeshwari Seva Committee in Borivli celebrated 40th anniversary of Baidarkala festival on Sunday January 25. Service
committee president Shekar Indu Salian led the celebrations.

Priest P Sukumar Bhat from Byculla conducted the religious programmes held in honour of Sridevi deity and Brahma Baidarkala.






















Billavara association Mumbai honorary president Jaya C Suvarna, Gangadhar J Poojary, Shanker D Poojary, Karunakar Kaup, MLA Prakash
Surve, Yogesh Boyir, Billavara association office bearers, local elite people and devotees prayed to the deities and got blessed.

Karnataka Rajyotsava awardee for 2014 Jaya C Suvarna was felicitated on behalf of the committee on the occasion.

Ramadas Anchan, Narsappa K Marnad, Kidiyooru Garadi's Haripoojary, Sooda Garadi's Koti Poojary, Sooda Jagadish Poojary, Sunil Devadiga,Umesh Sooda, Ramadas Muttappa Kotian, Harish Poojary Mumbai, Beladi Vasanth Poojary, Banalu Jagguparava, Narasimha Parava, Booba Parava Kola and Dalapathi Ganesh K Poojary cooperated in religious programme. P Sukumar Bhat distributed Prasada to the devotees.

Religious programmes Kalasha Prathiste, Agela Tambila Darshana, Kola and Baidarkala Dashana were held on the occasion. Committee vice
president Narsappa Marnad, honory treasurer Bhoja A Mendon, other office bearers and members were present. Honorary chief secretary
Dayanand Poojary Varanga welcomed. Joint secretary Raghu Kotian proposed vote of thanks.
