Mumbai, March 16: Bharath Cooperative Bank Mumbai Limited opened its 66th branch at M L Spaces building on Dasharathlal marg at Vile Parle west on Tuesday morning, March 10.

Billavara Association Mumbai honorary president and Bharath bank executive president Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the branch after cutting the ribbon. Criticare hospital founder Dr Dilip Namjoshi lighted the traditional lamp. Bank's vice president, advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated the ATM, director Pushpalatha N Salian set in motion the safe locker service and wished the bank well.















Dr Deepak Savanth, Shivasena party leader and minister of public health and family welfare in Maharastra was the chief guest.

Dr Rustum P Kheravala, CA Ramesh A Shetty, CA I R Shetty, customers Harish G Ameen and hotelier Raghuram K Shetty spoke on the occasion, praising the service of the bank and wishing the bank well.

Bank's chief general manager Anil Kumar R Ameen, general manager Shobha Dayanand, Bharath bank officer's association president Kiran B Ameen, Bharath bank employees union president Ramesh T Poojary and others were present.

Deputy general manager and development department head Mohandas Hejmady, officials Vivek S Shanbhog, Prabhakar G Suvarna, Vishwanatha G Suvarna, assistant chief general manager Vasudeva M Salian, Dr U Dhanajaya Kumar, Janardhan Poojary, Sunil Gujaran, Vijay Palan, Harish K Hejmady, Gopal Kotian, Prabhakar Poojary, Mahesh Kotian, Premanand B Poojary, Janardhan Ameen, heads of various branches who were present wished prosperity to the branch.

Dhanajay Shanti Ullooru and Shekhara Shanti Ullooru in their religious programme held Vastu Pooje, Ganahoma, Sathyanarayana Mahapooja and Dwara pooja. Gangadhar Kalladi distributed theertha prasada. Bank staff Rakesh M Kotian and Nelam Rakesh led the poojas. Bank staff Lathika Thonse, Uma Kamath, Shradha S Lavande and Sudhakar Poojary presented flower bouquets to the guests. Branch manager Sampath A Poojary welcomed the gathering. General manager Nithyananda D Kotian compered the programme. Branch assistant manager Saroja V Suvarnaproposed vote of thanks.
