Mangalore, Feb 20: A two-day seminar on ‘Service Learning’ for college teachers organised by St Ann’s College of Education was inaugurated at the college premises here on Monday February 19.
Speaking on the occasion, secretary of the Apostolic Carmel Education Society Sr Lydia Fernandes said that service learning gives one the opportunity to learn new things and that it was a multi-faceted process involving both teaching and learning simultaneously.
Among those present were college principal Sr M Clare, retired professor of the college Dr Anandi Martis, Lady Doak College, Madurai principal Dr Nirmala Jayaraj along with Prof Chitra and Dr Mercy Pushpalatha of the same college.
