Udupi, Feb 21: The Bangalore CCB police sources are almost certain that the two staff of 'Shabnam Real Estate' agency of Bangalore were shot dead by youth from district who had been given supari by underworld don Ravi Poojary.

As reported earlier the police had arrested Ranju alias Niranjan Shetty, member of Belapu gram panchayat and nephew of Paniyoor Sadhu Shetty on Sunday February 18.  Now the Bangalore Crime Branch police have also taken Kutyar gram panchayat member and another accomplice of notorious Vinod Shettigar to custody for investigation.

The CCB police have arrested Kutyar gram panchayat member Nityanand Shetty, owner of Mayur Bar and Restaurant at Kaup and Mukka Yogish alias Kali Yogish, a criminal and accomplice of Vinod Shettigar.  These two along with Niranjan Shetty have been taken to Thilaknagar police station at Bangalore.  Sources said that these were in Bangalore on the day the double murder took place.  Police said to have also taken them to the hotels where they resided and to Shabnam Real Estate office were shoot out took place.

Meanwhile some sources have reported that the Bangalore police in association with their counterparts in Mangalore have arrested two young men Donne Manu and Malpe Pradeep in connection with the present case.  However, this news is yet to be confirmed by the police sources.
