RIP!! Perhaps without this 'angioplasty' just with medications poor 'Poovapa' would have lived for another 5 years!!!

Hospitals are in clear nexus with insurance agents who pass the bills because the moment a patient is admitted they will first ask the quantum and type of insurance, this will be confirmed and discussed with the TPA who will take down the details and then give a figure up to which the treating hospital will be eligible to claim on that insurance, the final bill (provided it is within the insured amount) will be manipulate in such a way that it will come near (1000 bucks here and there) the claim that the insurance co. can dole out by putting the patient to unwanted tests and investigations, such is the rut which has set into the system!!

It was mentioned in this column by me a few days before. Now a days medical profession has become commercial rather than professional. If the poor patients go to hospital without money and get the treatment done, that is a gone case.In case, the hospital comes to know that patient has got Insurance/claim then the story is completely different. Then the bill amount will be double and overcharging (double the amount)will start for each and every treatment without any consideration.Because commission is being shared starting from doctors, hospitals from the amount received from the Insurance company.Patients life is secondary thing for them.Their main motive.purpose is to lure/rob the money either from insurance company or from the patients. It is all at the cost of proper and suitable treatment provided. Now a days life of common man and middle class has become precarious and horrible. No end for their tensions, problems.
Now whatever you name it whether it is government hospitals, private clinics, private hospitals, specialty hospitals, macro and micro hospitals, the trend will be same everywhere. But this is life, struggle for existence, survival of the fittest.Poor people will remain poorer and rich people will become richer and richer everyday. Here poor, middle class and common people are the sufferers.Government big talks are only on papers and rest will be taken care by media and advertisement companies. That is all.We the people are fools in fact.

why canot govt stop all this medical insurance schemes. Bcz of that all hospital looting people like anything. eventhough patient doest not require any surgery ,dactor will unnecessarily sugest the surgery .Instead govt should make medical education and medical treatment free.and should make nationalize all the private hospitals. (I am suggesting govt to instead of paying amt to medical insurance the same amount of money they can collect from people as a medical tax and make medical treatment is free for all the diseases)

The mass looting through Vajapayi Arogyashri Scheme of State Govt by PHC & Private Hospitals jointly, should also come out through Lokayukta Probe all over Karnataka from the date of inception of the scheme, that is April 2009. For each operation the Hospital gets Rs.2.00 lakhs from Govt and actual cost is 15 thousand only.
