Mangalore, Mar 30: Mangalore University Gandhian Studies Centre in association with Srinivas Institute of Management Studies organized a one-day open discussion on ‘Gandhi and Development Agenda’ for MSW students here on Thursday March 29.

Speaking on the occasion, social activist Dr A N Nagaraj drew a parallel between maintaining better relationships as preached in psychology and Gandhiji’s principles of non-violence.

He further said that the belief in love and unity among people are the panacea for all problems. He also called for a revival of Gandhian ideologies through modern science by means of psychological studies.

Among those present were Gandhian Studies Centre chairman Dr P L Dharma and Srinivas College MSW coordinator Dr I C Lisyamma.
