Udupi, Mar 30: A two-day national workshop ‘PING-2007’ organized by the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) was inaugurated at the MIT campus here on Thursday March 29.
The workshop was inaugurated by National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) director Sandeep Sancheti. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the major problem faced in the world of wireless networking was that of security and this is one area that needs attention.
The programme was presided over by MIT director S S Pabla.
Among those present were State Bank of India Mangalore regional manager V Eswaran and workshop coordinator Santosha Rao.
