Mangalore Mar 31: Manjunath Annigeri, the superintendent of directorate of Human Rights Implantations Cell t of police inaugurated the workshop on career guidance and personality development in the University Campus here on Friday March 30.  Mangalore University SC/ST unit had organized this workshop.

In his inaugural address he said that the students should aim higher and reach greater heights in their life.  "In this regard you need to put a perfect platform right at the beginning with a proper vision for the future," he added.

Prof K M Kaveriappa vice-chancellor said that the students should develop proper communication skills. He further said that with a view to provide better knowledge on English and help the students to develop communication skills in English the Varsity has introduced communicative English for the students under credit based semester system.

Dr Sundar Naik, registrar, Prof P S Yedapadithay, finance officer, S D Basavaraj, district employment exchange officer and Prof Abhay Kumar, the chairman of Kannada department were also present at the occasion.
