Mangalore, Apr 12: The summer camp for children organized by Sandesha was inaugurated at Kalabhavan here on Thursday April 12 at 10 am.
K Dinesh Rao of CAD Media who was the chief guest inaugurated the camp. Young artiste Ankush Naik performed on the occasion.
The tutors of the camp were introduced by Sandesha principal Vani Rajgopal while director Dr Francis outlined the course. Alwyn D’Cunha proposed the vote of thanks.
Classes will be conducted in Bharatanatyam, Indian musical instruments (tabla, harmonium, sitar and eastern violin), Carnatic vocal, keyboard, guitar, drums, arts and crafts, yoga, spoken English and drawing and painting.
The camp will conclude on May 5.
