Mangalore, Apr 14: The 4th district convention of Lions Club International district 324-D5 was held in the auditorium of the Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa on Saturday April 14 evening.
Justice N Venkatachala, former Lokayukta of Karnataka, was the chief guest of the convention.
Sandhya Shet inaugurated the programme. District governor Dr Udayashankar Shet presided over the function. Deputy governor H G Venkatesh released the souvenir.
The national flag was honoured at the function. Ronald Tauro, S L Sreepada, Dolphy Menezes, G Sundar, M Mohan Shetty, Sadashiva Kini, Michael D’Souza and others were present on the Dias.
Leslie D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Vincent Castelino proposed vote of thanks.
