Bopanna-Mergea match called off due to bad weather

Stuttgart, June 8 (IANS): Indian tennis player Rohanna Bopanna and his Romanian partner Florin Mergea's men's doubles first round match in Mercedes Cup here on Monday was cancelled off due to bad weather conditions.

The Indian-Romanian pair would face Croatia's Marin Cilic and Germany's Frank Moser.

"Unfortunately due to the bad weather all day, our doubles for today has been cancelled. Rain always part of the grass court events," Bopanna tweeted after the match was called off.
