Mangalore, Apr 23: National Students Union of India (USUI) former district president Wilfred L D'Souza has urged the University to introduce degree course for the dropouts.

D’Souza has written a letter to vice chancellor, registrar and the director of distance education of the university, stating that such a step would be a blessing to all those who were not able to complete their degree education.

This step would help them to attempt the 2nd or the final year degree examination in the distance education mode, he has pointed out.

D’Souza also thanked the university for introducing four extra attempts for the students to complete the graduation.
