Mangalore, Apr 23: Department of Orthopaedics of Yenepoya Medical College in association with government Wenlock Hospital has organized three-day-long "Mangalore Orthopaedic Course from Friday April to Sunday April 29.  The course will be held in Yenepoya hospital auditorium and will be inaugurated by Abdul Kunhi, chairman of Yenepoya Group and Islamic Academy of Education.

District surgeon Dr Prabhudev, director of administration of Yenepoya Medical College Dr P C M Kunhi and dean Dr R N Sujeer will grace the occasion as guests of honour.  The chairman of organizing committee Dr M Sudhakar Shetty will preside over the function.

Superintendent of Ramaiah Medical College of Bangalore Dr Naresh Shetty, eminent orthopaedic surgeon Dr K C Gopalkrishna from Trivendrum and director of the Institute of Orthopaedic Research and Accident surgery, Madurai Dr A Devdoss will participate as resource persons and deliver guest lectures on various aspects of management of orthopaedics.

Many orthopaedic surgeons will present their scientific papers on this occasion.  Around 250 delegates representing various medical institutions from all over the country will attend the 3-day-long deliberations.
