Kundapur, Apr 24: 'Spark City' Udupi team won the prestigious 'Panchagangavali Trophy -07' organized by Swami Cricket Club of Gangolli defeating favourite Chakravarthy team in a thrilling final held here on Sunday April 22 night.

Spark City won trophy and Rs 1 lac in cash while Chakravarthy team won permanent trophy and Rs 55,000 in cash.  Having won the toss Chakravarthy elected to bat first and scored 41 runs in stipulated 8 overs.  Spark City reached the target in 7.3 overs.

Earlier while Chakravarthy defeated Chamak Bangalore in semi-finals, Spark City won the showdown against Sri Ram Cricketers of Malpe to reach finals.  Kiran Shetty of Spark City was declared 'Man of the Series while C Manjith of the same team was declared ‘Man of the Match.'

Fisheries board president Laxminarayana, TP member Raju Devadiga, circle inspectorValentine D’Souza and others were present on the occation.
