HC refuses to drop charges against ex-MLA

Bengaluru, Jun 13 (DHNS): The High Court on Friday dismissed an appeal filed by the State government seeking permission to drop criminal charges against former BJP MLA, M P Renukacharya.

Renukacharya has been booked for rioting, disrupting public life and for other charges between 2004 and 2008. The then government in 2010 had decided to withdraw the cases against him and accordingly, filed an application before the trial court. The trial court rejected the application and the government had approached the High Court challenging the order.

Justice A N Venugopala Gowda upheld the order of the trial court and dismissed the appeal filed by the government.

Malla Kalve..Renukacharya...Looters of Karnataka. Shame that BJP government wants to charges against him. This is one of the features of Ache Dhin. Why BJP not acting against Robert Vadra and other corrupt? BJP always supports corrupt and criminals. Why no action against Shiela Dixit? BJP is in hand in glouse with Congress when it comes to criminals and corruption. Gret deed by BJP..Well done..
