Mangalore, Apr 25: The 'hore kanike' procession for the Gopalkrishna Temple at Classic Village, Shaktinagar was held on April 25.
K C Naik, proprietor of Mahabaleshwara Builders flagged off the procession from Karavali Circle. The Hore Kanike procession passed through Balmatta, Jyothi Circle, Bunts Hostel Circle, Kadri Temple, Nantoor to Shaktinagar.
Corporator Mahabala Marla and MLC Capt Ganesh Karnic were also present on the occasion.
Hore Kanike reached the temple from far off places like Puttur, Manjeshwar and Kumbla
The Gopalkrishna Temple was opened for public on Wednesday.
