Mangalore, Apr 25: Derik Chess School prodigies Adith Jagadish Boloor and Nihal Manjunath will take part in the Under-13 category in the 3rd World School Chess Championship being organized in Halkidiki, Greece from Friday April 27 to Sunday May 6.

Adith Jagadish Boloor is the son of Jagadeesh Boloor and Bharathi Jagadeesh. He is studying in Lourdes Central School here while Nihal Manjunath is the son of Dr Manjunath Shetty and Dr Veena Manjunath. He too is a student of Lourdes Central School.

Adith Jagadish earlier has taken part in Asian School Championship in Under-13 category in the year 2006. He narrowly missed the medal and secured impressive 5th position. He also stood 1st in the Under-12 category in a rapid event held in Singapore.

They will be accompanied by Prasanna Rao, administrator, Derik Chess School.
