Bantwal, Apr 26: The newly-constructed Holy Family Sabha Bhavan of Omzoor church was inaugurated and blessed by Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza of Mangalore at Omzoor on Wednesday April 25.
Bantwal deanery dean Fr Rocky D’Sa, Mermajal Grama Panchayat president Gangadhar Kotian, vice-president Kodman Kantappa Shetty were the chief guests on the occasion.
Bishop felicitated the patrons, engineer Naveen Kumar and contractor Sylvester Lobo. Gangadhar Kotian and Kodman Kantappa Shetty felicitated the labourers.
Parish priest of Holy Family Church Omzoor Fr Cyril Pinto, parish coucil vice-president James Lewis, secretary Celine Pinto, building committee convener Vincent Saldanha, secretary Godwin D’Souza were also present on the dais.
Fr Cyril Pinto welcomed the gathering while James Lewis proposed the vote of thanks. Linet Lobo compered the programme.
