Mangalore, Apr 27: In another drowning incident, a young man from Kottar near here met watery grave at NIT-K beach at Suratal near here on Thursday April 26 evening.  His body however, was fished out on Friday April 27 morning.

The deceased has been identified as Mahesh (23), a resident of Kottar Cross near here.  He was working in a city-based finance firm.

On Thursday, he had gone for a stroll to NIT-K beach at Suratkal along with 5 of his friends from Kapikad.  It was while having fun and frolic at the beach that he was pulled into the deep sea by a strong rampaging wave.  Though his friends and locals tried to rescue him, they could not.  Even their efforts to trace his body on Thursday evening went in vain.

But the Suratkal police along with the help of locals managed to fish out his body on Friday morning.  A case has been filed in the Suratkal police station in this regard.
