Sullia, Apr 28: Glamour doll and Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty who is on a visit to her maternal town from Monday April 23 visited famous Subrahmanya Temple here and sought blessings from God on Friday April 27.

As reported earlier Shilpa had gone to her mothers' native at Mudalady near Niddodi on Monday to offer silver bimbas to family god Jarandaya on Monday and Tuesday.

She had also offered various poojas, which she often refers as the culture and tradition of her family, and had also watched traditional 'Bhoota Kola' whole night.

Thereafter she had proceeded to visit Shree Durgaparameshwari Temple at Kateel near Kinnigoli before seeking blessings at Shree Gokarnanatha Temple at Kudroli in Mangalore.

Shilpa who claims herself to be deeply religious surely carries with her special charm and is often referred to as true Mangalorean lady for her polished language, gorgeous looks and intellectual abilities.

Despite enormous success she has managed to keep her feet firmly planted on the ground and has managed to get support from fans all over whether in controversies like 'Big Brother' reality show or the recent Richard Gere kissing saga.
