Mangalore, May 1: An employee of GETIT Yellow Pages was killed in an accident at Tiblepadavu near Ullal here on Monday May 1.  His colleague who was riding pillion has sustained injuries in the accident.

The deceased has been identified as Rohan Suvarna (19), a resident of Chokkapatna.  His collegue Soumya (23), a resident of Jeppinamogaru has sustained injuries in the accident.

Both Rohan and Soumya were working for Gettit Yellow Pages.  On Monday they had gone to an educational institute at Konaje to collect advertisement for the directory.  After collecting the advertisement they were on their way back to city riding Rohan's mobike when a private bus rammed knocked them down at Tiblepadavu.

As a result Rohan and Soumya fell on the road.  But the former sustained serious injuries in his head despite wearing a helmet and died on the spot.

Ullal police have registered a complaint in this regard.
