Mangalore, May 1: Bantwal deanery Small Christian Community (SCC) convention was held at Holy Family Sabhabhavan, Omzoor near here on Tuesday May 1 at 9.30 am. People from 12 parishes and 300 other leaders participated in the gathering, stated a press note.
Varado vicarvara Fr Roque D'Sa, Varado SCC convenor Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza, diocese SCC director Fr Gilbert D'Souza, Omzoor parish priest Fr Cyril Pinto, Varado coordinator Helen Frank and Shambur parish priest Fr John were the guests on the dias.
Santhu Omzoor compered while Fr Cyril Pinto welcomed the gathering. Sr Lucy Mascarenhas and group invoked divine blessings with a prayer, the press note stated.
