Mangalore, May 1: May Day was observed by Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) at J N C Auditorium of Panambur on Wednesday morning.
N M Adyantaya, president of state INTUC, inaugurated the programme. Rakesh Malli, president of INTUC district committee, presided over the function.
A procession with several vehicles too was held along the National Highway 17 before culminating at JNC Auditorium premises.
Blasius M D’Souza, member of Legislative Council, Mulki-Moodbidri MLA Abhayachandra Jain and Moidin Bava, president of district Congress minority wing were the chief guests for the programme.
