Mangalore, Jul 19: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Mangalore division has introduced additional facilities for the benefit of rural passengers. 

The season pass holders can travel in video coaches plying on Dharmastal–State Bank- Dharmasthal route, according to P Karumbhaiah, KSRTC divisional controller. 

The division would allow stops at various points for the benefit of passengers arriving from Bangalore, Hassan and Mysore, before 7.30 am. 

He further said that the stops will be allowed at Jyothi Circle, Milagres, Hampankatta, Town Hall, K S Rao Road and PVS Circle, before halting at KSRTC central terminus at Bejai. This facility would not be available for buses going further to Udupi and Kundapur, he added.

The monthly season bus passes has been reduced from Rs 500 to Rs 360 for passengers traveling between B C Road and Mangalore.
