Mumbai, Oct 2: Actor Aishwarya Lekshmi has denied reports claiming that she has been signed for Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s upcoming film Raaka.

Speaking to India Today, Lekshmi clarified that she is not part of the project. Reports had recently suggested that she was being considered for a role in the film, with some claiming that she could portray a negative character.

Responding to the speculation, Lekshmi said, “No, I am not part of the film. Somebody, please cast me in the film.”

Her clarification puts to rest the reports surrounding her alleged involvement in Raaka.

The film marks the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee and is among the highly anticipated upcoming projects. The two-part film is reportedly set across two different eras, with Mrunal Thakur associated with the modern-day narrative, while Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are linked to the historical Vedic segment.

Shah Rukh Khan is also expected to feature in an extended cameo, according to reports. The makers have kept details about the storyline under wraps.
