Mangalore, Jul 19: Barke police have arrested Gopal (18), Ashok (19) and Ravi (19) and seized gold and valuables worth Rs 3 lac on Thursday July 19 evening.
All three of them were found wandering at KSRTC bus stand when police arrested them under suspicion. It was during the investigation that they reveled that they were involved in thefts at Bhramambhika Temple located at Matadakani Road, Hanumantha Temple at Gollarakeri, Ayyappa Temple at Kavoor, Talipady Karlutti Temple at Kodialbail, Rama Kulaya Temple at Kodialbail, Premanath Kudwa's house at Matadakani. The police seized jewellery and silver plates etc worth Rs 3 lac from them.
They were arrested at the direction of SP Satish Kumar and additional SP K Lokesh Kumar and Mangalore sub-division ASI Dharmayya by Barke PSI Joy Antony.
