India U-16 go down against Levante in practice game


Valencia, Oct 2 (IANS): The India U-16 football team went down to Spanish side Levante U-16 by a solitary goal in a practice match on their ongoing exposure tour to Spain.

The goal came in the first half when Levante scored from the spot. The penalty was awarded after an Indian defender brought down a rival player inside the box, on Thursday.

The Indian colts next play Levanta International on Saturday.
