A five-day royal wedding for Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra

Oct 3 (HT): Cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Bollywood actor Geeta Basra are all set to get married later this month in a glittering ceremony in Punjab. The couple has been dating for a few years but have chosen to stay mum about their relationship status.

Social media is abuzz with their red-and-gold wedding invitation, embossed with the couple’s initials. The wedding will be solemnised on October 29 at Hotel Club Cabana on Phagwara Road, located about 20 km away from the spinner’s hometown Jalandhar.

A senior official from Club Cabana confirmed the booking made by the family for the event. “’We have been booked for an event. We cannot disclose anything as we have been asked to maintain confidentiality,” said the club official.

The wedding events will be spread over five days, including sangeet, mehendi and reception which will take place in Delhi on November 1. While the bride will be wearing designer ghagra on the big day, Bhajji will be dressed in a Raghavendra Rathore sherwani.

The guests at the wedding include cricket stars like Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli and many Bollywood celebs. Buzz says that some of the South African players are also likely to attend the wedding. A choreographer has also been hired specially for the sangeet to teach Bhajji’s friends and family some Bollywood moves. Geeta’s family will fly from London to attend the wedding.
