Udupi, Jul 20: Owing toheavy rains for the past few days, sea erosion has been intensified along the sea shore near Yermal here.
This has been posing threat of fisheries road being disrupted. The boulders are being placed on this sea erosion prone stretch of sea shore as it has been done every year. But just like in the past, it is of no use. The motorists are forced to cover round about route in order to reach their destinations. Deputy Commissioner Ponnuraj has visited the site to review the situation.
