Mangalore, Jul 21: Through its corporate social responsibility cell "Samrakshan"  Mangalore Refinaries and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) is trying to do its bit and contribute its share to society.

With this end in view, the company handed over Rs 5.60 lac worth of pre-fabricated toilets to 14 schools. For building an Anganwadi centre at Renjir Gudde village it provided financial assistance worth Rs 3.56 lac stated a press release.

Further as per the press release, when informed about the requirement of water purifiers at the primary health centres in Suratkal and Kattipala, "Samrakshan" cell of MRPL installed 80-litre capacity purifiers at both health centres.
