Mangalore, Oct 17:  From now onwards the Lokayukta would be easily accessible to the people in the district, as officials have been designated to receive complaints at regional levels. Lokayukta SP (in-charge) Ishwarachandra Vidyasagar said that by listening to the grievances of the people, they are trying to reach out to people. 

Addressing media persons here on Tuesday October 16, he informed that the Lokayukta DySP will listen to the grievances of the people on October 19 at Sullia, on October 22 at Bantwal and on October 25 at Puttur.

According to Vidyasagar, officials would travel to taluk centres and receive complaints directly. He further said that complaints could be registered in each district and those complaints which could not be accepted regionally would be forwarded to state Lokayukta using form 1 and 2. Lokayukta SP, DySP as well as inspectors were assigned to receive complaints from the people and they would hold grievance meeting in district and taluk headquarters frequently, he added.
