Udupi, Oct 19: Yakshagana Saptotsava will be organized by Ambalpady Sri Lakshmi Janardhana Kala Mandali Suvarnotsava Samiti here from Monday October 22 to Sunday October 28.
Addressing the media persons N B Vijay Ballal, honorary president of the Samithi said that Yakshagana Saptotsava will be inaugurated by Vidyasagara Tirtha Swamiji of Krishnapur Math.
On this occasion two singers and directors Hallady Subraya Mallya and Tonse Jayant Kumar, will be felicitated, he informed. Few Yakshagana organizations such as Gundibail Yakshagana Kalakshetra, Badanidiyr Sri Gaajanana Yakshagana Sangha and Heroor Sri Mahalingeshwara Yakshagana Kalamandali will also be felicitated, he added.
President of Sri Lakshmi Janardhaba Kala Mandali A Raghavendra Upadhyaya, Samiti president Ananda Ganiga, secretary Murali Kedekar and Ajit Kumar were present.
