Mangalore: Case Filed Against Anita Arekal over Property Damage

Mangalore, Oct 19: A case has been filed against Anita S Arekal, general manager, Karnataka Cashew Development Corporation (KCDC) by T V Mohandas, conservator of Forests (city circle) here recently.

According to the complaint lodged by Mohandas, Anita thrashed the windowpanes, bonnet and body of his car using a lathi, thus causing scratches and dents on the body of the car.

A complaint has been filed at Ashoknagar (Urva) Police station. In his complaint he has named R M N Sahai, managing director, KCDC, Padmaiah and Valerian Tauro, drivers, KCDC and Teja Kumar, car driver, DCF as eyewitnesses.

The complaint further says that Mohandas had parked his car at the quarters of KCDC MD at Bejai here on Monday October 15 evening. Later, he went for shopping with his family. When the driver went to take the car at around 10 pm the three tyres of the car were found deflated. The driver was also threatened by Anita Arekal.
