Mangalore: 'Discover India Travel Guide' Launched

Mangalore, Oct 20: A new ‘Discover India Travel Guide’ (DITG) has been launched by Cleartrip.com.  Announcing this the team at Cleartrip informed that it is a travel guide jointly produced with Lonely Planet and Jet Airways to be given out exclusively to customers booking Jet Airways flights on Cleartrip.com.
 
The DITG is a pocket guide that provides customers interesting information on 15 important destinations across India, which include Mangalore amongst others such as Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Goa, Guwhati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Port Blair, Pune and Trivandrum.
 
Lonely Planet – the travel content specialists have compiled all information for the DITG. Thus the said guide will include information on each destination viz., city highlights, information on restaurants, entertainment options in the city, shopping hubs and fast facts on getting around the city. Moreover the photographs inside is unique and capture the essence of each destination. 
 
According to the Sandeep Murthy, CEO of Cleartrip.com the DITG is another Cleartrip initiative to make travel simple and exciting for our customers. “This guide equips customers with a wealth of information on destinations so that they can explore much more ", he informs.
 
In this context Gaurang Shetty VP Marketing, Jet Airways states ''We're proud to be associated with Cleartrip. The customer and visitor profile of Cleartrip is a great fit for our brand. Cleartrip shares our philosophy of adding value to customers' travel experiences", he adds.
 
On the other hand Asia Lonely Planet, head James Sundram – informed that India being their priority market, they were happy to work with Cleartrip and Jet Airways so as to provide valuable travel information to customers and grow the travel market.
