QALCO to sponsor Mohamed Shamlan Cricket Tournament

Doha, May 7: The first Mohamed Shamlan Memorial Floodlit Cricket Tournament 2016 sponsored by Qatar Lubricants Co. (QALCO) will commence on Sunday May 8 at the MIC Cricket Complex, Umm Mesaieed.

The signing ceremony of the tournament was attended by Fawad Rana, managing director – Qatar Lubricants Co (QALCO), Saleem Kaiser – tournament coordinator, Gul Khan of Qatar Cricket Association, Tahir Mehmood and M I Farid of Qatar Veterans’ League.

All matches will consist of 15 overs on each side. There will be just one match conducted every night at 6.30 pm.
           
The inaugural match is between QALCO and M Pallonji.

The following 8 top teams from the second M Pallonji Cricket Tournament 2016 have been invited to participate in this prestigious knock-out tournament.

The finals of the tournament are scheduled for Thursday May 26 at 6.00 pm.
