Mangalore: Three-day Camp at Kadri Ashram School from Oct 26

Mangalore, Oct 22: The Dalit Sangharsh Samiti (Ambedkarism) (DSS) will organize a three-day study camp for the office-bearers of the Samiti at Kadri Ashram School, near Padua High School here from Friday October 26, said Rohitaksha K, state convener of the Samiti.

Speaking at a press conference here on Monday October 22, he said that Ambedkar ideology, Indian Constitution, communalism, globalization etc will be discussed during this three-day camp. A total of 250 people will attend in this camp, he informed.

State convener of Karnataka Dalit Women Federation Indira Krishnappa will inaugurate this camp, he added.

Well-known scholars like S Tukaram, Dr Somshekhar, H Pattabhiram Somayaji, Dr Gananath Yekkar, Janardhan (Janni), Prof Jogan Shankar, Abdul Salam Puttige, Kalai Selvi, Y S Devur and others will present their views in the camp, informed Rohitaksha.

Sundar Master, S P Anand and Sudhakar Boloor were present at the press meet.
