Mangalore: Vyakti Vikasa Kendra to Conduct Yoga, Meditation Camp

Mangalore, Oct 22: The Vyakti Vikasa Kendra Information Centre will conduct a unique yoga and meditation camp at St Aloysius High School Grounds here from Tuesday November 27 to Sunday December 2, said B N R Rao, head of the Information Centre.

Speaking at the press conference here on Monday October 22, he said that yoga harmonizes the body, breath, mind and soul through a combination of powerful yoga postures, meditation, pranayamas and processes to cleanse the body-mind complex, he added.

“Through Yoga, we can release the stress in the body and mind and allow the full potential to shine forth,” he explained.

Through the practices taught on the course, one can lose weight and cure chronic diseases such as insomnia, asthma, diabetes, hypertension and migraine, he informed. The integral organs are strengthened and revitalized, leading to a healthy and youthful body, Rao said.

The participants will have to pay a nominal contribution of Rs 250.
