Udupi: Man from Perdur Murdered in Restaurant in Hubli

Udupi, Oct 22:
Anand Shetty (40), a native of Perdur near Brahmavar here who was owning a restaurant at Hubli was found murdered in his restaurant on Sunday October 21 morning. According to the sources he had been working in Bagalkote district earlier and had recently started his own restaurant at Hubli.
 
The initial investigations have revealed that Anand Shetty might have been murdered using an iron  rod and bicycle chain when he was sleeping on Saturday October 20 night.  He died owing to excessive bleeding as he was stabbed several tims in his abdomen.
 
Vidyanagar Police reached the spot on Sunday morning on receiving the information from the workers of Snooker pool situated near to the restaurant.
 
A case has been registered in Vidyanagar police station. Narayan Nadamani, commissioner expressed his confidence that the criminals would be traced soon.
