Mangalore, Mar 15: Uttara Karnataka Coolie Karmikara Sangha will organize a massive labourers' convention at Nehru Maidan here on Sunday April 6.

Addressing news persons here on Saturday March 15, Ramesh B Eeliger, president designate of the convention said the convention will address various issues and grievances of labourers and make honest attempts to find solutions to their problems. 

T V Narayana Gowda of Karnataka Hitarakshana Vedike, D Veerendra Hegde of Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala, Oscar Fernandes, union minister of state for labour and others will be the invitees and dignitaries, though the list is still tentative, he added.

Other office bearers of the Sangha were present at the press conference.
