Mangalore: St Ann's College Bags 3 Ranks in Varsity BEd Exams

Mangalore, Apr 30: The city-based St Ann's Educational Institutions has bagged three ranks in the BEd examinations conducted by Mangalore University for the year 2006-07.


Sr Pramila, Sr Premalatha, Sr Philomena and Sr Shaima Jose

While Sr Cynthia Almeida has bagged first rank with a tally of 858 marks, Sr Premlatha has bagged seventh rank scoring 825 marks.  Sr Philomina D'Souza AC stood ninth with 821 marks.  A press release by the college stated that out of the 99 students appeared for BEd from St Ann's 69 scored distinction while the rest 30 passed out in first class.

At the same time Sr Shaima V Jose, a student of Srinivas College, Pandeshwar has bagged the eighth rank.
