Mangaluru: St Sebastian Church Permannur celebrates Associations Day

Mangaluru, Aug 24: St Sebastian Church, during its centenary jubilee programme on August 20, celebrated ‘Associations Day’ at St Sebastian Church Hall.

After the thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration , the stage programme untied its curtain.

Former vice presidents and present vice presidents were honoured during the programme. Fr Dr J B Saldanha spoke and wished everyone well and called them to be like Jesus and work together.

Fr J B Saldanha, parish priest, presided over the programme. Lucas D’Souza and Harry Tellis were the chief guests. They delivered their message and wished all the associations well.


    
































Fr Praveen Joy Saldanha, Fr Stany Pinto And Fr Lizel D’Souza, assistant parish priest, Sr Carmine Misquith, superior Bethel convent, Sr Emma Joseph, superior Nirmal convent,  Sr Benny Barretto, superior Aloysius convent, Melwyn C D’Souza, vice-president and Ronald Fernandes, secretary of parish pastoral council, Demetrius D’Souza and Joslin D’Souza, Centenary Jubilee Committee and presidents of all associations were present on the dais.

Ronald Fernandes gave the introductory speech. Melwyn C D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Joslin D’Souza thanked all. Demetrius D’Souza was the MC of the programme. Choir members led the prayer song.

Fellowship breakfast was served to all members of the associations.
