Emirates Airlines Adds Flights to Bangalore

BANGALORE, Jun 12: Emirates Airlines, a Dubai-based carrier, has announced plans to advance its Indian operations with 18 additional flights per week, effective from July 1.

Emirates will step up its frequencies to Bangalore, Hyderabad and New Delhi, increasing its flights to India to 132 per week, the highest ever frequency for an international carrier in the Indian skies.

In time to support the holiday season, the new frequencies will be introduced between July and October 2008. Bangalore will be served with seven additional weekly frequencies – two of which will be introduced in July and the remaining five in October.

Emirates' increased air links of 15 weekly flights will improve connectivity to North America, a major market for India's IT exports, estimated to be worth US $ 50 billion.

Emirates will progressively increase its Hyderabad service to 18 flights a week by October 1 and New Delhi from July 2.

The additional flights will be Boeing 777 and Airbus A330-200 aircraft in two and three-class configurations, and will inject over 5900 seats on the Indian routes.

Bangalore-Additional flights in July EK564 (Tues, Thurs) Bangalore at 0900 - Dubai at 0330 EK565 (Tues, Thurs) Bangalore at 1025 - Dubai at 1255.

    I request the authority of emirates airlines to have a flight to mangalore. it will be comfortable to the passangers of mangalore.
